This summer, the Province of Quebec will welcome an unparalleled and spectacular event: the very first edition of the Tall Ships on the Quays, which will be held September 16 - 19, 2010.During this great maritime fair on the Quays of the Old Port of Montréal, five tall ships will be anchored in the harbour and, thanks to a sensational and eventful schedule, every member of the family will have a good time: arrival parade (September 16), fireworks (September 18), entertainment, music, tall ship illumination at night, plus a myriad of activities that will please the young and old alike.
Steeped in history, these majestic vessels are back from the prestigious Great Lakes Tall Ships Challenge 2010, flying flags of Germany and the United States. The general public will have the amazing privilege to board and visit the ships, accompanied by their knowledgeable and passionate crews: the Roald Amundsen (Germany), the Bounty (United States), the Pride of Baltimore II (United States), the Unicorn (United States), and the Lynx (United States).
